Mike Tyson's 3rd and most current wife, Lakiha Spicer is no stranger when it comes to dealing with the law. In 2004 Spencer was convicted of fraud and conspiracy and ordered to serve 6 months fed time. A jury convicted Spicer over receiving 71k for a teaching job at Sister Clara Muhammad School but never showed to do the job. The Islamic, West Philly school was designed to enrich adult minds in reading and math.
Spencer's mother was identified as 1 of 2 masterminds behind the scam in which $274k in public funds were embezzled. Lakiha's mom, Faridah Ali served more than a year for her part in the scam.
Tyson was called as a character witness on behalf of his wife. The two were married in 2009, 30 minutes after obtaining their marriage license in Vegas. Lakiha is the mother of Tyson's 8th child. he wed her 2 weeks after his 4 year old daughter from a previous relationship died in a tragic accident on a treadmill.
